When I went to do my first ornament, the Cancer Awareness Blackwork pattern, I realized I hadn't done blackwork in a long while. I searched and found this site that has great blackwork instructions. She has an e-mail version of a blackwork instruction manual for $15, but I found the free instructions, including the You Tube demo did wonders for my memory.
I am going to stitch several of these, with the just the design on the front and the word hope on the back. I think they will be lovely.
